Our Services
AIM Hi’s service providers are trained to implement evidence-based treatment using cutting-edge technology shown to improve the outcomes of children with autism. All services are individualized and prioritized to the values and goals of the individual and their family, as each individual’s needs are different. These goals are assessed by a Licensed Behavior Analyst in which an individualized treatment plan is developed. The treatment plan is then implemented by behavioral technicians and continuously monitored by the behavior analyst for progress.
Individual treatment plans may include goals for language, social skills, adaptive skills (e.g. food selectivity, potty training, and functional living skills) academic skills, and interfering behaviors. Our goal is to AIM Hi in our efforts of expanding our learner’s language, social, and adaptive behaviors.
Early Intervention
Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) is a treatment based upon principles of ABA that begin at 4 years of age or younger. EIBI consists of 20-40 hours per week of individualized instruction that is typically naturalistic, integrates interactive social contexts, and supports child-directed teaching strategies (Schreibman et al, 2015). EIBI has been shown to be effective in improving the outcomes of individuals with autism.
Precision Teaching
In addition to ABA and Verbal Behavior, AIM Hi is dedicated to applying the principles of Precision Teaching in our treatment analysis. Precision teaching involves accurately pinpointing a behavior, measuring it, analyzing the data, and making data-based changes to improve outcomes.
Our use of Precision Teaching also includes fluency building which promotes quick and accurate responding. This helps with skill maintenance and application.
Parent Participation
It is imperative for parents to be involved in their child’s learning and progress. Parents are required to attend a one-time overview of ABA and ongoing parent training meetings with their child’s supervisor to ensure consistency of care.
